First Garden Bed Down
Yes, Claudia and I have done it. We have made our first of six garden beds. Nothing in them yet except for our high hopes for lovely fresh natural veggies. Anyway I plan on heading down to Necastle tommorrow to visit the local markets and buy some cheap seedlings to place in my garden. Fun Fun fun.
Claudia said she had great fun in the garden helping me today. Thats lovely.
Things are moving full steam ahead for Claudia's 5th birthday party next weekend. The theme is Mermaids and Pirates. We have been busy today doing some crafty things.

Hello World!
We are up and running. We are the Weerts Family and this blog is a log of everything and anything we want to tell the world about. We are Olaf, Christine, Sofia, Claudia and we can't forget Bronte the West Higland White Terrier.
We live in a lovely Federation home in Lorn, NSW and are slowly restoring/renovating the house to bring it back to its gloy days. We have lived in our house for about 8.5 years and have done a fair amount of work to it but having children has meant a real slow down so we can balance kids/family life/ renovating house/demanding job and study. Wow what a list. Now I know why I never seem to have any time!
We are currently working on creating a vegetable garden in our backyard. I am sick and tired of hearing about the problems of the world and the endless additives that are added to our foods that we are not informed about but will probably find out in twn years time when we develop weird reactions/illnesses/diseases as a result. Am I being a little negative?
Anyway. I'm hoping to use this blog in conjunction with a course I am dooing on Web 2.0. On this blog I can post some of the 23 things I hope to learn about on this site. Woo Hoo. Sounds impressive he? Keep posted. Also I want to use this as a space to keep as a online journal about my new veggie garden.
Anyway
